Job Responsibilities
- Implement cyber security strategies and technical documentation
- Design and review secure industrial network architectures
- Collaborate in technical workshops with stakeholders and vendors
- Ensure compliance with relevant cyber security standards
- Configure and optimize networks (VLANs, routing, firewalls)
- Review supplier documentation and testing procedures
- Support ICT documentation and monitoring activities
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Drive continuous improvements and share best practices
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in cyber security or network engineering
- Strong understanding of IP networking across Layers 2–4
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, Profinet, IEC 61850, OPC UA)
- Practical knowledge of networking technologies such as VLANs, NAT, QoS, and firewalls
- Familiarity with industry standards like IEC 62443, ISA 99, and the Purdue Model
- Hands-on experience within industrial or offshore automation environments
- Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Fluent in both Norwegian and English
