PROJECT MANAGER - RETAIL APPLICATIONS
Role Overview
This role sits within the Singapore Tech and Digital Solutions team, focusing on the delivery of technology services across applications and infrastructure. The position is responsible for driving projects initiated by Global, Regional, and Local stakeholders, ensuring successful execution through strong coordination with internal IT teams, vendors, and business leaders.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are critical to navigate cross-functional collaboration and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Service Delivery
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budget, and scope.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/consultants to execute projects effectively.
- Manage local and regional service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Provide regular updates to management on progress, risks, and key challenges.
- Support hypercare phases and transition completed projects to support teams.
- Lead key initiatives such as new boutique site setup and hardware replacement projects.
Security & Risk Management
- Drive remediation of security risks identified through internal and external assessments.
- Communicate identified risks to business stakeholders and escalate where necessary.
Operational Support
- Support broader TDS team initiatives and ad-hoc activities as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Management and/or Service Delivery Management, with exposure to production infrastructure and application support.
- Prior experience in IT management or IT consulting is preferred.
- Proven experience delivering IT projects and managing vendors or consultants.
- Experience working in MNC or retail environments is mandatory.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and retail applications.
- Familiarity with network and communication technologies, including:
- Router, switch, wireless controller, access point
- Call manager, video conferencing appliances
- General knowledge of network, server, collaboration, and security technologies.
- Exposure to IT security tools and practices.
