We're working with a leading global defense consultancy and technology powerhouse on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a mission-driven engineer to design, upgrade, and secure the enterprise-wide infrastructure that powers our nation’s defense operations.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between architectural planning and hands-on implementation, leveraging Cisco technologies, SAN/NAS storage, and robust cybersecurity protocols to ensure mission-critical systems stay ahead of evolving adversaries. This is your chance to solve complex network challenges where the stakes couldn't be higher.
The Role
- Lead the design and development of enterprise-wide network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and peak performance for DoD mission-critical systems.
- Architect and manage medium-to-large enterprise farms, including geographical replication, external data source interfacing, and third-party integration.
- Implement and manage sophisticated data storage solutions across SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and DAS technologies to support massive data movement.
- Drive cybersecurity hardening, risk mitigation strategies, and A&A support documentation in alignment with strict DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) directives.
- Perform high-level troubleshooting, disaster recovery operations, and PKI/certificate authority monitoring to maintain 24/7 network integrity.
- 8+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years specifically in systems/network engineering and architectural planning.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory due to the nature of the defense projects.
- Technical expertise in enterprise data, voice, and video networks with hands-on storage experience (SAN, NAS, iSCSI).
- Required Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and a DoD IAT Level II compliant certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
- Proven ability to handle complex disaster recovery, backup/restore, and cybersecurity risk identification within a secure environment.
- Highly competitive salary range ($61,900 - $141,000) with performance-based recognition awards.
- Comprehensive benefits package including premium health, life, and disability insurance plus a robust retirement plan.
- Extensive professional development support, including tuition assistance and access to advanced technical training.
- A people-first hybrid culture that balances flexible work options with high-impact collaboration.
