JOB DESCRIPTION
A client of Insight Global is seeking a hands‑on, generalist Network & Systems Administrator to support a small but technically complex scientific and manufacturing environment. The role is primarily systems‑focused (70%) with limited network responsibilities (30%) within a stable, third‑party‑supported SD‑WAN environment.
Responsibilities include supporting Microsoft 365, backups, scientific applications, and end users across multiple locations in close partnership with a senior systems administrator.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of experience in systems and/or network administration
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune)
- Experience supporting Windows endpoints in an enterprise environment
- Experience managing SaaS‑based backups
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Citrix application support experience
- Meraki networking experience
- Exposure to Azure networking (VNets, routing)
- Experience in biotech, manufacturing, or regulated environments
- Network+ / Security+ or equivalent
