Canstar is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is ready to bridge the gap between robust backend architecture and the frontier of Generative AI.
In this role you’ll start by mastering our Node/Go ecosystem to understand our domain, then move into the development of AI agents and agentic features that redefine how our customers and internal teams interact with data.
What You’ll Bring
Technical Excellence
2-3 years of backend experience. You’re strong in Node.js/TypeScript or Go and comfortable with NextJS, GraphQL, and REST.
Solid PostgreSQL skills (efficient queries/data models) and experience with BigQuery/Dataform on GCP.
Hands-on with AWS or GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Build, IAM).
Experience building LLM-backed endpoints (Vertex AI, OpenAI, or Anthropic). You understand prompt design, function calling, and RAG.
Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex (or the drive to learn them fast).
Security & Reliability
A focus on PII, data residency, and compliance.
Experience building AI guardrails: role-based access, human-in-the-loop flows, and audit logging.
