If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.
We are looking for a Product Manager (Junior/Medior) to join our API Product Management team in the field of KYB (Know Your Business) / Entity Verification in a dynamic environment. You will help own and evolve our API products and related components, work closely with the Product Team Lead, engineering, and other stakeholders, and grow into owning product areas with increasing independence. You will contribute to requirement analysis, participation in designing features, backlog clarity, and delivery while building deep product and technical understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Core product management
- Work closely with the Product Team and development team to ensure timely delivery of product milestones
- Develop detailed specifications for REST API features and define clear backlog items for our Agile development team
- Own or co-own product areas; write clear requirements and acceptance criteria; participate in designing features and ensure outcomes are documented and actionable
- Collate and action client and stakeholder feedback; assess value, shape requirements, and prioritise work to keep focus
- Identify and help solve product-related issues quickly and efficiently; take ownership of pre-defined projects with a focus on quality and stakeholder communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, customer-facing teams); synthesise requirements and keep status and priorities visible
- Create and maintain API documentation for internal and external stakeholders; showcase product features and enhancements when needed
- Conduct end-to-end testing of API endpoints (e.g. Postman, Hoppscotch, or basic Python scripting); identify bugs, edge cases, and performance issues through systematic testing and business logic
- Support product testers with inputs to develop and improve automated testing and monitoring solutions
- Must-have
- Some experience (typically 3+ years) in product management, technical product ownership, business analysis, or a closely related role in a software/API context—or a relevant University degree (Business and/or IT)—including requirement gathering, stakeholder workshops or process improvement, and agile/backlog or ticketing and documentation tools
- Structured thinking: ability to see the main point, summarise clearly, and prioritise what matters
- REST API knowledge and understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Ability to write clear, structured requirements and acceptance criteria and to work from high-level briefs to concrete backlog items
- Strong collaboration: reliable in communication, responsive to stakeholders, and able to work in a cross-functional team with engineering, QA, and other product/ops colleagues; experience working with international teams is a plus
- Some experience with, or demonstrated ability and willingness to learn, AI/LLM tools and agents (e.g. for analysis, documentation, or workflow support)
- Willingness to learn technical and domain details (APIs, data, integrations) and to engage in technical discussions with developers
- Good organisational habits: tracking work, following up on open points, and representing your areas in status updates and planning
- Proactive problem identification and rapid response to issues; ability to adjust course or escalate as needed; “can do” attitude and ability to multi-task effectively
- Quality-focused mindset with attention to detail; ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; adaptability in fast-paced technical environments
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); professional and constructive in feedback and discussions
- Nice-to-have
- Hands-on experience with datasets to extract insights, and with API testing (e.g. Postman, Hoppscotch, Python, SQL) for product testing and monitoring of live API performance
- Somewhat experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable systems
- Background in business analytics, data analysis, or quantitative research; understanding of product metrics and KPIs
- Experience with API products, data-heavy B2B products, or the KYB industry
- Expertise in requirement gathering, client or internal stakeholder workshops, or process improvement
- Expertise in agile/backlog practices and in tools used for ticketing and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to identify patterns in complex data and translate them into business recommendations; systematic approach to analysing complex systems and translating technical findings into actionable product requests
- Demonstrated focus on quality and consistency (e.g. documentation, process, or product standards)
- We expect you to start by delivering on assigned areas with support from the team and your manager, and to grow into:
- Deeper technical and product mastery so you can drive design and requirements more independently
- Stronger prioritisation and structure so you can manage multiple streams and represent your areas clearly
- More proactive ownership: initiating improvements, raising risks early, and driving topics when you own them
- Overseeing bigger areas and cross-product topics
