Why are we hiring?
We are scaling our backend platform to handle the next generation of growth, performance, and reliability challenges. As a senior .NET developer, you will guide the architecture and technical direction of our backend systems while coaching and supporting our engineers.
What do you do?
- Take ownership of backend architecture, technical choices, and system performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and fellow engineers to design, build, test, and deploy.
- Coach and mentor backend engineers, raising the team’s technical standards.
- Ensure that our code is clean, maintainable, and well-documented.
- Drive integration projects with external systems for authentication, authorization, and content distribution.
- Write infrastructure as code and support DevOps best practices.
- Act as a go-to contact for backend-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and new features.
- You enjoy problem-solving and know how to decompose a problem to solve it in a structured way.
- You raise the bar and strive for excellence in all your initiatives.
- You have a strong work ethic and a real “can do” attitude; you like to get things done.
- You have a growth mindset. You’re constantly striving to learn new things and improve.
- You follow industry news, regularly tinker with new technologies, and read books and blogs to keep your skills sharp.
- You are a team player and strong communicator, able to coach and inspire others.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with .NET/C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and relational databases.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to work on large, complex systems with high uptime requirements.
- Experience with secure coding practices (OWASP), design patterns, and unit testing.
