Your Role at Yuki
As Design Lead, you’ll lead a team of designers embedded across development teams, ensuring their efforts align with Yuki’s business goals. This is a chance to foster a culture of creativity and innovation while contributing to the strategic direction of our SaaS solutions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Team Leadership: Mentoring and guiding designers in their career growth, fostering a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Strategic Direction: Driving discovery and research initiatives to align design practices with user needs and business objectives.
- Design Systems Expertise: Ensuring the evolution and adoption of robust design systems across teams.
- Representation: Championing the design discipline within the Product Development Management Team, which includes software development managers, product managers, our CPO, and CTO.
- Collaboration: Promoting a seamless connection between designers and development teams, while working closely with the Faculty Chair to enhance design processes.
- Proven leadership experience in design, with a focus on SaaS solutions.
- Strong expertise in discovery and research methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with design systems and their implementation.
- A strategic and innovative mindset to drive user-centric solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in an international and collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with agile product development practices.
