We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Optimaze product team in Espoo!
You’ll be the go-to person for infrastructure, releases, and production stability for Optimaze, EG’s space management and workplace analytics solution. If you enjoy variety - from server management and networking to CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration - this is your role.
You will join the Optimaze product team within EG Finland. Optimaze is EG’s space management and workplace analytics solution, and this role is embedded directly in the product team. You’ll work closely with the Optimaze developers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to keep the product’s infrastructure running smoothly. The team is based in Espoo, Finland, and we offer a flexible working model combining on-site and remote work.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Optimaze product team in Espoo!
You’ll be the go-to person for infrastructure, releases, and production stability for Optimaze, EG’s space management and workplace analytics solution. If you enjoy variety - from server management and networking to CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration - this is your role.

The team is based in Espoo, Finland, and we offer a flexible working model combining on-site and remote work.
Your workday and your tasks
Your day-to-day work will include a mix of operational, collaborative, and strategic tasks:
- Perform server updates, patching, and maintenance across our infrastructure.
- Provide internal end-user support for IT systems.
- Maintain, upgrade, and design internal IT systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to our products.
- Oversee product releases and perform rollbacks when necessary.
- Cooperate with external vendors and internal stakeholders across the organisation.
- Participate in on-call and maintenance work outside business hours a few times per month.
You are the ideal candidate if you
Required
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or DevOps.
- Solid experience with server management, backup, logging, and hardware fundamentals.
- Windows administration with Active Directory experience.
- Basic to intermediate security skills and knowledge.
- Understanding of networking concepts including firewalls (L2–L4).
- Experience with on-premise infrastructure and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with VM platforms such as VMware, Citrix (Xen), or Hyper-V.
- Working knowledge of containers and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Octopus Deploy, Terraform/OpenTofu, or Git.
- Finnish native speaker with professional-level English.
- Eligible for security clearance – remote work outside Finland is not possible.
- Azure cloud experience.
- Kubernetes (K8S) experience.
- Experience with VDI platforms.
