ROLE:
We’re looking for a Packaging Designer to join our marketing team and bring bold, high‑impact packaging concepts to life for Oddlygood and Rude Health. You combine a strong design sensibility with the ability to create exceptional packaging artwork. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our marketing, product development and key external partners to ensure seamless execution and best‑in‑class results across every project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Execute on design strategy, finalized product design ideas from our strategic agencies as well as own full design process for new products
· Work in close collaboration with our design agencies and package suppliers to ensure consistent feedback and that packaging is on-brand, and aligns with the portfolio strategy
· Close collaboration with marketing, business development and other internal stakeholders to ensure that packaging delivers on set KPIs
· Act as the bridge between product and marketing teams, to make sure the packaging concepts carry over to visual assets, such as photography, sales & marketing materials
· Be the specialist of packaging, both visually and technically, whom people can rely on to give calculated advice in various projects
· Keep the company Material bank organized together with the marketing graphic designer
· Be in charge of the pack image process, from visualizing initial ideas to ordering final pack images for each touchpoint
· Be up to date with packaging and design trends trend, consumer and shopper data and propose key implications based on results
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· +3 years of experience
· Solid skillset in Adobe Creative Suite
· Creativity and visual eye for striking graphics
· Knows technical requirements of print production
· Understanding of business and brand strategy
· Goal- and detail oriented
· Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
· Ability to follow set schedules and tight deadlines
· Experience in package design is preferred, but not mandatory
· Never afraid to be odd
EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full-time position in our Headquarters in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. The position reports to Oddlygood’s CMO based in Stockholm.
