About Your New Job

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Cloud Support Engineer to join a growing IT operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing core technology platforms across both on-premise and cloud environments.

You will work across infrastructure, cloud services, networking, storage, and virtualisation, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and optimised. You will also collaborate with internal teams and managed service providers to support business operations and ongoing transformation initiatives.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to operate across a broad technical landscape.


What Skills You Need

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure engineering or technical operations
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID)
  • Experience supporting and optimising cloud services (Azure/M365 environments)
  • Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware), storage, and backup systems
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing, switching)
  • Experience working with ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management)
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Experience working with monitoring tools and system performance management
  • PowerShell or scripting experience is an advantage


Desirable

  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft 365 Administrator, Cisco (CCNA), CompTIA, or ITIL
  • Azure Fundamentals or cloud certifications
  • Security certifications such as CISSP
  • Experience with automation, device analytics, or modern infrastructure tooling
