On behalf of Nahanagans we are recruiting for a Network Engineer.

Based at Dublin Airport you will join us as Network Engineer. Working with and under the Supervision of the HV Network Manager to gain familiarisation & Training with the HV Network

Collaborating alongside your supportive colleagues, you'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to projects Powering Irelands Transition.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Carry out routine inspections across the extensive MV Network at Dublin Airport and completing of reports.
  • Fault finding on the MV network including MV cables, Switchgear, Transformers, Protection Relays, DC & SCADA systems.
  • Reviewing and updating CAD drawings
  • Developing MV Switching plans while gaining a good working and operational knowledge of the extensive MV network at Dublin Airport.
  • Assisting the HV Network Manager in carrying out live MV switching and isolations
  • Full training available to become a fully certified SAP (Senior Authorised Person) responsible for MV Switching and permitting.
  • Maintaining MV asset register.
  • Facilitating MV equipment maintenance, commissioning and replacement.
  • Facilitating MV substation access and contractor supervision.
  • Project meetings, project delivery and substation handover inspections.
  • Out of hours MV Switching, and MV Equipment Maintenance within the Airport with overtime paid.

Skills Required

What You Will Need:

  • Graduate Electrical Engineer
  • LV Electrical Test Engineer
  • Experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for career progression in the HV MV Industry
