Position

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Global Operations team, reporting to the Head of Logistics. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of logistics activities for complex international projects, ensuring the efficient transportation of materials and equipment in line with project schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, procurement teams, logistics providers and customs partners to ensure the smooth coordination of shipments and the continuous optimization of logistics processes across the organization.

This role is open to professionals with 2–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, looking to grow in an international and project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage shipments of goods and materials in close coordination with Project Managers, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets
  • Analyze transport specifications, liaise with forwarders and consultants, and evaluate technical proposals, risks and opportunities
  • Manage transport tenders, including preparation of bidding documentation, comparison of offers and support to procurement in supplier selection
  • Define logistics procedures and transport specifications, coordinating with customers, customs agencies, forwarders and project stakeholders
  • Plan, execute and monitor logistics activities according to project schedules
  • Manage customs operations, including documentation for customs clearance and handling of dual-use goods
  • Monitor and update logistics budgets and contribute to cost optimization initiatives
  • Coordinate subcontractors and logistics partners for the shipment of materials, equipment and vehicles to project sites
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations in different countries, including hazardous materials regulations in collaboration with ADR consultants
  • Support business development and project teams in assessing logistics solutions and transportation costs
  • Coordinate the receipt of materials at warehouses and manage loading/unloading procedures within internal systems
  • Support after-sales activities and the management of non-conforming materials from customers and suppliers
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes within NHOA Energy
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and site safety requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain roles
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Proactive attitude and motivation to grow within increasingly complex international projects
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of corrective and preventive action processes
  • Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken); Chinese is considered a plus

Location: Hybrid Remote; Office based in Cosio Valtellino (SO) or Milan.
