Job Description

1) Brief description of the required activities :

Administration and maintenance of a dynamic Windows Server environment, including lifecycle and patch management

Participation in the administration and operation of the Luxembourg IT landscape

Server virtualization, preferably with VMware

Support of applications and systems, including Active Directory servers and associated DNS and DHCP services

Administration, troubleshooting (1st and 2nd level support), and change management of the systems

Access management, including the management of roles and rights for VDI clients

Application automation using PowerShell or VB scripting

Ensuring compliance with IT security policies and standards, and contributing to regulatory issues (DORA)

2) Detailed requirements for the work to be performed :

After initial training, assuming the responsibilities described in point 1.

3) Requirements for the required service quality :

The quality of deliverables must meet the project team’s “Definition of Done”.

Results must be supported by appropriate developer tests.

Strict adherence to internal specifications and guidelines is required, especially considering responsibility for proper IT operations.

By the end of the project, all applied methods and tools must be mastered by the internal development team.

Consultants must ensure and monitor knowledge transfer to the development team.

4) Guidelines and specifications to be observed :

Due to specific regulatory constraints, the contractor must provide proof of PSA or PSF certification for involved employees.

Work must adhere to internal development guidelines including coding conventions, architecture guidelines (SCA), code analysis rules, logging guidelines, and error handling policies.

IT security requirements must be strictly followed.

The internal Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, quality gates, deliverable types, and process models must be respected.

Additional specifications will be provided at project start.

5) Documentation and knowledge transfer requirements :

Documentation of iteration content and results via JIRA and Confluence.

Use of additional tools (e.g. PowerPoint) for workshops.

Proper documentation of agile ceremonies, design, development, and tasks.

Knowledge transfer to internal employees to ensure autonomous continuation of the work.

By the end of the project, all applied methods and tools must be fully mastered internally.

Required Skillset :

Experience administering Windows Server operating systems

Good German and English skills

Strong knowledge of desktop and storage virtualization

Good knowledge of Active Directory and domain controller administration

Understanding of security standards such as DORA and other regulatory requirements

Network administration skills

Windows Server / Windows Client experience

Knowledge of Linux environments and scripting languages such as VBScript, PowerShell, and SQL is desirable
