Java/J2EE Software Engineer

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our Client’s team under a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop user stories in accordance with functional specifications, code quality standards, and security requirements
• Contribute to the development of an electronic invoicing application within the scope of a European regulatory reform
• Build and maintain backend solutions using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
• Design and integrate REST APIs to support application functionality and interoperability
• Work with MongoDB, Kafka, and microservices architecture to deliver scalable and robust solutions
• Use Docker and GitLab CI to support development, integration, and deployment processes
• Collaborate within an Agile SCRUM environment to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries

Required Qualifications:

• Proven professional experience in backend development with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
• Experience with MongoDB, REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures
• Familiarity with GitLab CI, Docker, and event-driven tools such as Kafka
• Good understanding of code quality, application security, and development best practices
• Experience working in Agile environments, preferably using the SCRUM framework
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Good spoken English
