Responsibilities:

Provide senior programme leadership across all workstreams, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Oversee the full transition lifecycle — from contract sunrise and knowledge transfer through to service validation and go-live.

Drive transformation initiatives in parallel with transition activities, managing interdependencies across nine service towers.

Chair and participate in governance bodies including the Executive Steering Committee, Portfolio/Programme Steering Committee, and T&T CAB.

Coordinate the project managers involved in the programme, acting as the single point of accountability for programme outcomes.

Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where necessary to executive stakeholders.

Ensure rigorous programme reporting, documentation, and change control processes are maintained throughout.

Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders, including CIO, Contract Executive, and Head of IT Service Delivery Management.

Lead and motivate a cross-functional programme team including Project Managers, Transition Leads, Transformation Leads, and Service Delivery Managers.


Must-have:

Proven track record as a Programme Director on large-scale IT outsourcing or managed services transitions.

Deep experience managing multi-tower, multi-supplier engagements across complex IT environments.

Strong familiarity with ITIL-aligned service management and enterprise governance models.

Demonstrated ability to manage Executive Steering Committees and senior client relationships.

Experience working within the financial services sector or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable.

Relevant professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).



Language Requirement:

Exceptional written and spoken English is a strict requirement for this role.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate with precision, authority, and clarity — both in executive-level presentations and formal programme documentation.

Candidates who cannot demonstrate a near-native level of English proficiency, in both verbal and written form, will not be considered.



Travel Commitment:

This role requires a high degree of mobility

The Programme Director must be fully available for frequent international travel throughout the entire programme duration.

Client site presence is expected on a regular and sustained basis, particularly during the critical transition and go-live phases.

Candidates must be willing and able to commit to this travel requirement without restriction.
