Position Summary
The Canadian Football League is looking for a hardworking, passionate, talented individual for an exciting contract position in the Content Marketing department at the CFL’s head office in Toronto. In this position, you will provide assistance to the Video Production team as it tackles exciting and challenging projects for the 2026 season.
Key Responsbilities
- Supporting the Video Production team with video editing, shooting, motion graphics, publishing and footage archiving
- Collaborate with Content Marketing team on weekly storylines and visual elements that support them
- Take ownership of weekly video projects, editing and publishing under tight deadlines
- Maintain and expand archived video, and fulfill footage requests
- Capture video such as game action, interviews, partner activations, and press conferences on-location where required
- Act as liaison between League and Member Clubs
- Highly creative video editor, proficient in Adobe Premiere
- Skilled shooter with sports experience, proficient in use of Sony Cinema cameras
- Strong graphic design and motion graphic skills are a plus (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Familiarity and experience with social media platforms considered a plus
- Extensive CFL & football knowledge
- Comfortable with Mac operating systems
- Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work some weekends, holidays and select evenings
Expected Compensation
The expected compensation range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 which includes base pay plus bonuses and variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position and should serve simply as a guide. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors such as candidate experience, skills, budget, location. Compensation will be prorated based on the duration of the contract.
Other Considerations
Hybrid Model: The incumbent will be required to attend the office in accordance with the CFL Hybrid Work Policy. In addition, you are required to attend meetings and other business events at the office or other venues as business needs dictate.
Work Schedule: Due to the nature of the business, the incumbent must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required.
Travel: As required.
