- Pay Rate: C$90 - 100/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise complex technology initiatives
- Oversee systems development for major applications
- Define project requirements including business analysis and data needs
- Develop project plans with clear milestones and deliverables
- Manage multiple projects and project managers across large teams
- Coordinate meetings and interface with business units and service providers
- Ensure delivery meets scope, cost, schedule, and quality standards
- Govern project lifecycle from proposal through closure
- Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues as needed
- Manage resource acquisition, deployment, and budget planning
- Provide status reporting, issue management, and stakeholder communication
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and IT management
- 8+ years of experience managing large and complex IT projects
- Strong experience with full life cycle development
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale programs and teams
- Experience working with project methodology tools
- Ability to work autonomously and manage operational direction
- Strong experience in stakeholder and executive communication
- Banking or financial institution experience
- PMP certification
- Experience with payment-related projects
- Project management (large-scale IT initiatives)
- Full life cycle development knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, Confluence, JIRA, Clarity, PowerPoint
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Stakeholder management
- Interpersonal and leadership skills
- Risk management and escalation handling
- Budget and resource planning
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex teams
- Governance across full project lifecycle
- Experience with RTR delivery (money movement perspective)
- Strong tracking and reporting capabilities
- Ability to ensure timely and effective communication
- Adaptability to flexible anchor days and hybrid work model
