Reimagine access. Reimagine ownership. Build the future with Cinch.

About Cinch

Cinch is building Asia’s largest Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform—offering flexible, affordable, and sustainable consumer electronics subscriptions. Our platform sits at the intersection of embedded finance, technology infrastructure, and asset-lifecycle management, deployed through Telcos, OEMs, retail, e-commerce, and reseller channels.

We’re a fast-growing fintech backed by a leadership team with backgrounds spanning Actis, Visa, INSEAD, Zip, Palantir, and Gartner. We operate across B2C, B2B, B2B2C, and B2B2B channels with an ambitious roadmap to become the category leader in APAC.

The Role

Cinch is building the operating system for device subscriptions—a vertically integrated platform that manages the full lifecycle of physical assets from procurement through subscription, collection, refurbishment, and redeployment across Southeast Asia.

We’re hiring a PM to be the technical product leader who partners and complements our Product Lead to run the product function. This is a two-person leadership model: the Product Lead owns commercial strategy, discovery, and stakeholder alignment; you own technical delivery and the engineering interface. Together, you’re accountable for everything the product team ships, managing the roadmap and prioritization.

This is a hands-on role at a Series A-stage company with real revenue, real operational complexity, and real urgency. You’ll be working across a proprietary billing orchestrator, an asset management platform, risk engines, logistics integrations, MDM systems, and multiple customer-facing applications—all in production, all needing to scale. If you’ve only ever worked on software products without a physical operations layer, this will be a step change in complexity.

You’ll be expected to leverage AI tools in your own workflow, integrate AI capabilities into product design, and help the team adopt AI-first approaches to everything from PRD development to quality assurance to operational automation.

What You'll Own

Technical Delivery & Release Management

  • Product-engineering interface: You’re the daily counterpart to our engineering managers and QA lead. You translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, run sprint planning and release reviews, and hold the bar on what “done” means.
  • Quality gates: Establish and enforce product sign-off processes for releases that touch billing, subscription logic, or asset management. Build the discipline that prevents business logic errors from reaching production.
  • Release management: Own the cadence, the criteria, and the go/no-go calls. Especially critical during our ongoing billing platform migration.

Platform & Systems Product Management

  • Core platform PRDs: Own technical specifications for our subscription orchestrator, asset lifecycle management system, payment processing, and logistics integrations. You need to be comfortable going deep on system design—data models, state machines, API contracts, edge cases.
  • Operational systems thinking: Cinch is an asset-heavy business. Every subscription involves physical device procurement, warehousing, delivery, MDM enrollment, potential collection, refurbishment, and redeployment. Your product decisions need to account for these physical realities.
  • Multi-market complexity: We operate across Southeast Asia, in markets with different regulatory requirements, payment landscapes, and retail partnerships. You’ll manage the product implications of this divergence.

Application Development & Integration

  • Multi-app oversight: We’re developing several applications in parallel (mobile & web). you’ll help manage technical specifications, vendor coordination, and integration with our core platform.
  • Vendor/contractor management: We work with external development partners for specific workstreams. You’ll own the technical interface with these vendors—setting tech specifications, running acceptance reviews, and ensuring integration quality. If you’ve seen what happens when outside contractors build without product guardrails, you know why this matters.
  • B2B + B2C: Our platform serves both direct consumers and business partners (enterprise admin portals, retail channel integrations, SDK/API access). You’ll need to think across both sides and manage the product implications of one-to-many partner models.

Team Development

  • PM team capability: Level up a small PM team (2–4 people) on technical product skills—PRD writing, technical scoping, data-informed decision making, and engineering communication.
  • Process building: We’re at the stage where product processes need to be built, not inherited. Sprint rituals, documentation standards, UAT frameworks, stakeholder review cadences—you’ll help improve what's there, and establish what doesn’t yet exist.

What You Bring

Must-Haves

  • 7+ years in product management with at least 3 years in technical/platform PM roles at operationally complex businesses
  • Ability to read and reason about database schemas, API contracts, and system architecture. You don’t need to write code, but you need to evaluate technical decisions and spot gaps in implementation.
  • Track record of managing complex system migrations, platform transitions, or large-scale integrations without business disruption
  • Experience working directly with engineering leadership to establish productive product-engineering operating rhythms
  • Active and fluent use of AI tools (LLMs, automation, code generation) in your product workflow.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and building in environments where processes don’t exist yet

Strong-to-Haves

  • Direct experience with systems that manage physical assets—retail operations, logistics, supply chain, device/inventory management, leasing, or similar. You understand the complexity of products where software decisions have physical-world consequences.
  • Experience in fintech, subscription or e-commerce, or circular economy businesses
  • Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets—particularly Singapore and Malaysia (regulatory, payment, and operational nuances)
  • Experience with subscription billing systems, payment orchestration, or recurring revenue platforms
  • Background in multi-market product operations (localization, compliance, multi-currency)
  • Exposure to eKYC/KYC flows, or risk/credit decisioning systems
  • Experience building or scaling product teams at Series A–B stage companies
  • Experience integrating AI agents or automation into operational workflows at a product level
  • Demonstrated experience managing external development vendors or contractors—setting specs, running acceptance, maintaining quality
