My client is a leading firm, looking to hire a Head of Cyber Defense in Singapore. This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape cyber defence capabilities at scale.

What You'll Do:

• Leading and scaling security operations, including 24x7 monitoring and incident response
• Driving SOC maturity, improving detection quality, and optimising processes across multiple environments
• Integrating threat intelligence into detection and response workflows
• Strengthening incident and crisis management capabilities, including executive-level engagement
• Enhancing automation and tooling to improve response speed and operational efficiency
• Partnering closely with risk, compliance, and technology teams to uplift overall security posture

What You'll Bring:

• At least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity
• Have led or significantly matured security operations / SOC functions within large, complex environments
• Bring strong experience across detection, incident response, and threat intelligence
• Have managed specialised cyber teams and operated in regulated or critical infrastructure settings
• Are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional initiatives
• Combine hands-on operational understanding with strategic thinking
