📊 Data Modeller
Location: Southwest England
Contract: 6 months initially
Rate: £600–£650 per day (Inside IR35)
We’re currently supporting a leading financial services client in their search for an experienced Data Modeller to join their Data Architecture, Platform & Engineering team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping how the organisation understands and leverages its data, working within agile sprint teams to deliver high-impact data solutions.
🔍 The Role
You’ll work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality data models that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational systems.
💡 Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Translate business requirements into scalable data structures
- Collaborate with sprint teams, providing modelling input throughout delivery
- Produce low-level design documentation, DDL, and target models
- Ensure alignment with data governance and regulatory requirements
🛠️ Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with data modelling tools (Erwin DM preferred)
- Solid SQL skills, ideally with Snowflake on AWS
- Experience reviewing SQL from engineering teams
- Familiarity with Jira and agile delivery environments
- Background in financial services is highly desirable
