We are seeking a Golang Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems. This role is ideal for someone passionate about distributed systems, microservices, and building efficient, reliable applications using Go.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Golang
- Build and integrate APIs, messaging systems, and databases
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams on architecture and features
- Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend applications
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
- Document systems, processes, and architecture
- 2–5 years of experience in Golang backend development
- Strong proficiency in Go and related frameworks
- Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, and messaging systems
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Based in Australia with full working rights
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and cloud-native systems
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Open-source contributions or community engagement
