Passionate about our people, partners and customers, we are fortunate to work with an increasing number of iconic Australian Brands, providing health insurance comparisons to their customers with the highest levels of customer service, integrity and technology solutions.


We are currently looking for a capable DevOps Engineer to work with our growing technology team.


Key Responsibilities

The role involves supporting the business in the area of infrastructure and software development:


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to plan, design, and implement AWS cloud infrastructure solutions that align with organisational objectives
  • Design and maintain both existing and upcoming cloud infrastructure for internal and external projects
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing coordination
  • Establish and maintain continuous compliance monitoring and automated remediation workflows
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans with regular testing
  • Develop well-structured, maintainable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) following best practices and coding standards
  • Ensure relevant technical documentations are developed well, up-to-date and contribute to process improvements.


Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing cloud infrastructure using AWS services
  • Solid understanding of software design and architectural patterns
  • Proficient and capable with at least one scripting language, preferably Python
  • Experience with building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCity and ArgoCD
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code solutions - preferably Terraform
  • Excellent, effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude to undertake responsibilities that add value, ability to simplify practices, and drive efficiency.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies


Advantageous towards application

  • Experience with Managed Kubernetes - Preferably EKS
  • Experience with cyber security tools and SIEM platform - Netskope, Wiz Cloud and CrowdStrike
  • Proficient with observability platforms, for example Datadog, Grafana Cloud or similar
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Google etc) and experience in the Australian Private Health Insurance industry
