Join a high impact migration project at scale, helping migrate a large, complex Kubernetes environment from Nginx Ingress to Solo.io’s KGateway ahead of a critical deprecation deadline.

You’ll be embedded in a fast moving, cloud native environment, working across Azure AKS clusters with modern GitOps tooling to deliver a seamless, automated migration.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support migration from Nginx Ingress to Solo.io KGateway
Work across ~30 AKS clusters supporting thousands of proxies
Implement and optimise ingress patterns across public and private models
Drive automation using Flux CD and Helm charts
Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to ensure smooth rollout
Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and deployment issues

What We’re Looking For

Senior level DevOps or Platform Engineering experience
Strong hands on expertise with Kubernetes, ideally within Azure AKS
Proven experience with Nginx Ingress and/or Solo.io Gateway technologies
Deep understanding of ingress controllers and traffic routing at scale
Experience with GitOps tooling, particularly Flux CD and Helm
Ability to operate in fast paced, delivery focused environments
Strong problem solving capability across distributed systems
