Location: Finland (Home‑Based)
Region: Pan‑European Focus
Employer: Established, International Automation Group
Drive Growth Across Europe for a Leader in Automated Material Flow Solutions
Our client is a well‑established, globally recognised group specialising in intralogistics, industrial automation, and advanced material handling technologies. With a strong footprint across Europe and a reputation for engineering excellence, they deliver high‑performance solutions to manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and industrial customers.
To support their continued expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Manager based in Finland to lead commercial growth across Europe. This is a strategic, outward‑facing role for a commercially sharp professional who understands automated systems, customer pain points, and the dynamics of modern intralogistics.
The Role
As BDM, you will:
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across Europe within manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and industrial sectors.
- Build strong relationships with end‑users, integrators, and strategic partners.
- Lead solution‑focused conversations around automated material handling, robotics, conveyors, AS/RS, and wider intralogistics technologies.
- Work closely with engineering, product, and project teams to shape proposals and deliver compelling customer solutions.
- Represent the group at industry events, trade fairs, and customer sites across Europe.
- Develop account strategies, pipeline forecasts, and market insights to support long‑term growth.
About You
You will thrive here if you bring:
- Proven experience in business development or technical sales within intralogistics, industrial automation, robotics, or material handling.
- Strong understanding of automated systems, customer workflows, and ROI‑driven solution selling.
- A proactive, self‑driven approach suited to a home‑based role with regular European travel.
- Ability to engage at all levels—from plant managers to C‑suite decision makers.
- Fluent English; Finnish or other European languages are an advantage.
What’s on Offer
- Join a respected international group with a strong brand and a robust installed base.
- High autonomy, strategic influence, and the chance to shape European growth.
- Competitive salary, performance bonus, and full support package.
- Long‑term career development within a growing global organisation.
If you’re motivated by building relationships, opening new markets, and selling high‑value automation solutions that transform industrial operations, this role offers the platform to make a real impact.
