Overview

We are building a Golang engineering team for a leading finance and banking client. The team will develop and maintain business-critical backend services within a modern, cloud-oriented environment. Engineers will take long-term ownership of the systems they build, following a “you build it, you run it” approach focused on reliability and production quality within a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services in Golang used across the client’s product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with backend and platform engineers in a distributed engineering team.
• Ensure code quality, testing standards and reliability of high-throughput production systems.
• Take ownership of services in production and contribute to operational stability.
• Work within the constraints and compliance requirements of a regulated finance or banking environment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience developing backend systems in Golang.
• Proven experience working within the banking or financial services domain.
• Experience building production-grade backend services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture.
• Comfortable working in an international remote team.
• Good communication skills in English.
