A large global organisation are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to develop advanced analytical models and data driven solutions.
This will be a permanent position worked on a hybrid basis, three days on-site in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve complex financial problems such as credit risk, fraud detection, customer segmentation, and forecasting.
- Analyse large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that support business strategy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, finance, product, and compliance teams to identify data-driven opportunities.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and feature engineering processes for model development and deployment.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects, from problem definition through model monitoring and improvement.
- Ensure models comply with financial regulatory requirements and model governance standards.
Key Skills Required:
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics, preferably in financial services.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Solid knowledge of statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and experimentation.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and SQL-based data platforms.
