Your Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and run high-traffic frontend systems that power our web shop — delivering fast, accessible, visually engaging experiences with short release cycles and full ownership.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and analysts to transform insights into polished, production-ready features.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture and software design, ensuring performance, scalability, maintainability, and future growth of our platform.
  • Develop user-facing features across domains such as product discovery, search & recommendations, checkout & payments, customer accounts, loyalty, and customer self-service.
  • Integrate with backend and internal/external systems (ERP, logistics, BI, CRM, product data) to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences.
  • Champion engineering excellence through pair programming, mentoring, improving frontend tooling, and modernizing or decomposing large-scale applications.

Your Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred; React/Angular welcome), with strong knowledge of performance, responsive UI, accessibility, and component-driven architectures.
  • Practical experience in complex environments (e-commerce is a plus) and familiarity with backend fundamentals (REST, GraphQL, microservices).
  • Exposure to cloud-native technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, CDNs, caching, and edge rendering is advantageous.
  • Comfortable with pair programming and collaborative workflows.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and monitoring/observability for frontend applications (Datadog, Grafana, browser tooling).
  • Passion for both greenfield development and modernizing existing large-scale applications, including refactoring and decomposition.
  • Fluent in English; German, or Spanish is a plus.
