Your Role

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of the software applications used by our partners worldwide for designing, simulating, and selling AutoStore systems. These applications play a key role in AutoStore’s success. You will work closely with a team of talented engineers to improve the tools and discover innovative approaches to advance the products. While developing expertise across multiple areas of our business, you will be supported by mentors and positioned for success in a fast-moving, technology-driven industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of the AutoStore system
  • Work alongside fellow engineers to design and develop new features (.NET C#, JavaScript)
  • Participate in design and architecture sessions
  • Support code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Work across different domain teams to learn and contribute to their respective workflows

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong passion for building products
  • Strong problem-solve and communication skills
  • Experience with software/hardware applications
  • Experience with software development in any language
  • Showcasing strong knowledge of the technology landscape and current trends
  • Master of Science degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Cybernetics, Science, Data Engineering)


Location: Oslo or Stavanger
