Future CTO (Part-time, Early Stage)

We decode careers, engineer each user’s unique Brand DNA, and transform it into high-impact outputs — elite LinkedIn, X, and Instagram content, CVs, cover letters, and relocation strategies designed to land interviews.

Our mission is simple: help exceptional people be clearly understood, confidently represented, and correctly matched with opportunity.

Now we’re looking for a Fullstack developer (Future CTO) to help shape the first version of Landy.

What You’ll Do

You’ll come in early and take ownership of the technical direction.

Not to start from scratch — but to make what exists sharper, faster, and scalable.

You will:

• Transform an early-stage codebase into a clean, scalable architecture

• Bring structure to systems thinking, trade-offs, and engineering priorities

• Upgrade performance, reliability, and technical clarity across the stack

• Design and optimize our AI layer (LLMs, RAG, orchestration, cost/latency)

• Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure — whatever the system needs

• Partner directly with the founder to translate product vision into technical reality

• Make decisions, not just execute them

• Build the foundation to step into the CTO role as we scale

Our Current Stack:

Frontend

• React 19 (Vite), Zustand, Tailwind, Framer Motion

AI

• Gemini + Claude

• RAG on Supabase

Backend / Infra

• Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions)

• Serverless architecture with RLS

Integrations

• Stripe, Brevo, Axios

Who You Are

• Think in systems, not tickets

• Have built before — and you’ve seen what breaks

• Can look at an architecture and immediately spot what’s wrong or missing

• Comfortable across frontend, backend, and AI — or can get there fast

• Understand trade-offs: speed vs. scalability, simplicity vs. flexibility

• Move fast, but thoughtfully

• Care about building something that actually works at scale

• Want to own something, not just contribute to it

• Have the ambition and potential to become a CTO

• Ideally based in the Netherlands

Bonus skills

• Scaling products beyond MVP

• Supabase / serverless architecture experience

• LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents

• Performance optimisation (frontend or backend)

• SaaS or AI product experience

Early Stage Note

Landy is pre-seed, building the first version before raising external funding. Currently, no salaries are being paid — we’re all investing our time to prove the concept.

The role starts as a flexible, part-time collaboration alongside your current role. Think of it as a technical adventure on the side: the opportunity to build an AI product from the ground up and influence how it works and scales.

If the collaboration works and Landy grows as expected, the goal is to turn this into a full-time paid role once funding is secured.
