JOB DESCRIPTION
- Leadership and DevOps Strat and Roadmap: The Director provides the domain strategy and vision for DevOps initiatives within the CEX and Digital organization. They work closely with senior leadership to define and articulate a clear DevOps strategy that aligns with the organization's customer [1] centric goals and digital transformation objectives.
- Alignment with CEX and Digital Goals: The role involves ensuring that DevOps practices and strategies directly contribute to improving customer experiences and achieving digital transformation targets. This alignment is crucial for enhancing the overall value delivered to customers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: The Director fosters collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, including development, IT operations, customer support, and business units. They act as a bridge between these teams to ensure seamless integration and synergy.
- DevOps Implementation: The Director oversees the implementation of DevOps principles, practices, and tools to automate and streamline the development, deployment, and operations processes. This includes continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure automation, and monitoring. Customer-Centric Approach: A key focus is on adopting a customer-centric approach to DevOps. The Director ensures that DevOps practices aim to enhance the customer experience, whether through faster app updates, improved app performance, or reduced downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: The role involves promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the DevOps teams. The Director encourages the adoption of agile methodologies, measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs), and the use of data-driven insights to drive ongoing enhancements.
- Security and Compliance: The Director is responsible for integrating security best practices and compliance standards into DevOps processes to protect customer data and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Resource Management: Effective management of resources, including budgets, personnel, and technology tools, to support DevOps initiatives and digital projects.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with DevOps processes to maintain the stability, security, reliability of digital services.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
- Measurement and Reporting: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of DevOps initiatives on customer experience and digital objectives. Providing regular reports to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s in Science or Business
- 10-12 years’ experience in Delivery management including AGILE delivery management and business agile delivery
