We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.
You will get the chance to:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and make architectural decisions that shape the organization’s technology landscape.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Define and build programs that deliver end-to-end solutions, working closely with stakeholders across technology and product teams.
- Mentorship: Support team growth through mentorship, feedback, and fostering a culture of diverse perspectives and continuous learning.
- Innovation Champion: Stay current with emerging technologies and practices, sharing insights and promoting positive change within the organization.
- Architectural Design: Design and architect complex software applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical constraints.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks during feature design and development, ensuring robust and reliable systems.
- AI Integration: Leverage AI for optimization and automation, establishing standards for responsible use and transforming engineering operations.
- Proven experience in software architecture with a strong background in Ruby, Kotlin, JVM-based technologies, or Node.js.
- Proficient in designing, implementing, and testing APIs.
- Proficient in working with Identity providers and API Gateways.
- Deep understanding of design principles and experience with complex, scalable systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus across teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with AI technologies and their application in software development is a plus (e.g., AI champion with Claude Code agents, skills, commands, MCP Servers, hooks, plugins).
- (Nice to have) Awareness of FHIR and HL7 health standards.
