A leading Nordic technology organisation is looking to strengthen its cybersecurity capability with the addition of an experienced Penetration Tester. This is a fully remote opportunity within Norway, offering the chance to work on diverse and complex environments across multiple industries.
You will play a critical role in identifying vulnerabilities, assessing security posture and supporting clients in strengthening their defences against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration tests across web applications, networks, cloud environments and infrastructure
- Perform vulnerability assessments and provide clear, actionable reporting
- Simulate real world attack scenarios to identify weaknesses in systems and processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to remediate findings
- Contribute to security best practices, methodologies and continuous improvement
- Stay up to date with emerging threats, tools and techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in penetration testing or offensive security
- Strong understanding of networking, operating systems and common attack vectors
- Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap or similar
- Knowledge of web application security standards such as OWASP Top 10
- Familiarity with cloud security principles
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CREST or similar are highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
