Role: Frontend Developer (Product focused)

Salary: £40-£50k

Location: UK based remote working

We're looking for a talented Frontend Developer, with strong experience in taking design ideas and turning them into a functioning, scalable platform to be used by a range of clients to build their websites from.

Responsibilities

• Component Architecture: Design and implement a scalable, reusable UI library to increase development velocity and visual consistency.
• Technical Advisory: Audit the existing codebase to identify technical debt and provide actionable recommendations for better performance and security.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to bridge the gap between creative vision and technical feasibility.
• Stack Ownership: Contribute to the long-term front-end strategy, ensuring high standards for code quality, maintainability, and modern best practices.
• UX/UI Optimization: Evaluate designs to suggest usability improvements, ensuring a high-quality, performant user experience.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical and product documentation to streamline onboarding and cross-team alignment.

Skills

• Solid experience building software with JavaScript
• 5+ years commercial development experience
• Experienced building bespoke solutions to problem solve
• Being able to work efficiently as part of a team or solo on projects
• Soft skills that include a can do attitude, being flexible and versatile to work across a range of projects in an agency environment
• Commercial experience with GSAP
