Role Overview: We are looking for a talented and motivated Frontend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. While not essential, experience with C# is a desirable bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive, user-friendly web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and libraries.
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features and solutions.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and improving code quality.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in frontend development.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with backend development concepts and languages, particularly C#.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) or frontend architecture patterns.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Exposure to cloud services like Azure or AWS.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Selenium.
