Android Developer

Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire an Android developer for a long term opportunity at Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position).

Our Client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 17 million clients and has more than 89,000 employees worldwide. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Title: Android developer

Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid 4 days onsite/Week)

Long term Contract

Client: Banking/Financial

Must have:

• 7+ years of development experience
• Experienced in Android development using Kotlin or Java
• Strong understanding of Android SDK

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, high‑performance Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and QA teams to deliver mobile banking features.
• Integrate and manage RESTful APIs while ensuring data security and compliance standards.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and resolve production issues.
