About the team

The Foundational Model Team (FMT) aims to develop in-house Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities to drive innovation across Flipkart Group’s diverse business applications. If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of state-of-the-art AI and making a significant impact on India’s e-commerce landscape, Flipkart’s FMT provides the ideal platform to solve real-world challenges and accelerate your career as a Data Scientist, especially in the GenAI space. You will work on Research in GenAI with funded compute.

You are Responsible for

● Exploring and applying recent research in the space of GenAI to the benefit of applications for Flipkart group

● Building in-house GenAI models that are competitive for Flipkart applications

● Facilitating utilisation of in-house models for business applications To succeed in this role – you should have the following A deep understanding of the algorithms they have worked on, both in theory and application. A strong grasp of Deep Learning principles, including the theory and practice of fine-tuning language models and a solid foundation in ML models. A commitment to staying updated with the latest research trends in deep learning, LLMs, and AI advancements
