Product Designer

A growing digital product business is hiring a Product Designer to support the development of user-centric products powered by rich data and modern technology.

This is a hands-on role focused on designing intuitive, high-quality digital experiences. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from research and ideation through to prototyping and collaboration with engineering teams.

Role: Product Designer

Salary: £65,000

Location: Guildford w. some hybrid working

What you’ll be doing:

• Conduct user and market research to understand behaviours, needs and opportunities
• Translate insights into clear product ideas and design concepts
• Create user journeys, wireframes, mock-ups and interactive prototypes
• Design intuitive UX and high-quality UI aligned to product and brand goals
• Develop and maintain design systems, components and style guides
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers and marketing teams
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and product performance

What you’ll need:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Product Design or UX/UI role
• Strong understanding of UX and UI principles across web and digital products
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar
• Strong attention to detail across visual design and interaction patterns
• Ability to solve problems through design thinking and user-first approaches
• Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in improving digital products
