Role: Project Manager – Utility Scale Solar
Location: Milan (Open to Hybrid/Remote work)

We are supporting a fast-growing renewable energy platform in the search for a Project Manager to join their team in Italy.
This is a strong opportunity to join a business with a large active solar pipeline, managing multiple utility-scale PV projects across acquisition, development and execution. You’ll take ownership of projects, acting as the key link between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, on budget and to the right quality standards.
With nearly 30 active projects already in the execution phase, there are 200MW of capacity to install in the next 12 months, with over 400MW also being assessed for acquisition. This team is scaling rapidly, bringing in the best talent to help grow into one of the leading players in the Italian renewables market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of utility-scale PV projects from acquisition through permitting, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning
- Manage external stakeholders including EPCs, consultants and technical advisors
- Control programme, budget, risk and reporting across the portfolio
- Support permitting, contract review, invoice approval and project documentation
- Ensure strong standards across HSE, quality and compliance
- Lead project handover into operations
Key Requirements
- Experience delivering utility-scale solar PV projects in Italy
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from development to construction
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders and parallel projects
- Solid knowledge of budgeting, scheduling and project controls
- Familiarity with Italian permitting and construction processes
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on, solutions-led approach
