Step into a role where you will turn data into insights and help shape data-driven decisions across our global organisation. With your analytical mindset, curiosity for data and eagerness to learn, you could be our next Junior Business Analyst in Global Quality at the VELUX Group.

At the VELUX Group, quality is key to what we do, our mindset, our products and how we develop and produce them, and we are committed to continually improving ourselves to do even better. To ensure maximum utilization of our quality data for enhancing production processes and product quality, we are looking for Junior Business Analyst to join our Global QHSE&E team.

Meet your future team

You will join a team of six experienced colleagues in Performance & System Management within Global Quality. The team plays a key role in collecting, structuring and analysing quality data from across the VELUX organisation – including factories, markets and service technicians.

You will report directly to Jakob Blichert-Toft, Manager of Performance & System Management in Global QHSE&E.

You will collaborate closely with our Senior Business Analyst based in Denmark and work with stakeholders across operations, supply, product development and IT. The position is based in Gniezno, Poland, and includes regular collaboration and occasional travel to Denmark to support knowledge sharing and teamwork.

What We Offer

This is a unique opportunity to start or accelerate your career in data analytics within a global company where quality and data-driven decision-making are key priorities.

In this role, you will work with real business challenges, develop your analytical skills and gradually grow into a more advanced analytical role while contributing to the continuous improvement of our quality data landscape and supporting how we continue to develop and manufacture our high-quality products.

More specifically your tasks will be to:

  • Build and develop global Power BI reporting for market and production quality issues.
  • Maintain and continuously improve our current Power BI reporting landscape.
  • Analyze quality data from factories and service technicians to identify trends, patterns and insights.
  • Translate business needs into analytical solutions and reporting tools.
  • Increase data validity by building governance data processes and reports.
  • Facilitate Power BI training and support colleagues in our factories and markets.
  • Investigate how to collect and structure unique product identifiers so different data sources can be connected and used together.

What You Will Bring

We are looking for a curious and analytical colleague who is eager to learn and develop within a collaborative and international environment. You enjoy working with data, but you are equally comfortable communicating with stakeholders and understanding business needs.

You approach tasks in a structured and systematic way and take responsibility for delivering high-quality results on time. At the same time, you are motivated by the opportunity to grow professionally and develop your analytical capabilities.

Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics or similar
  • Have a strong interest in data analysis and business intelligence
  • Have knowledge of Power BI and SQL
  • Have an understanding of data structures and analytical methods
  • Are a proficient problem-solver utilizing creativity to find solutions to business needs.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Speak and write English at a professional level.
  • Experience within operations, manufacturing or supply chain environments is considered an advantage.

As this role involves close collaboration with colleagues based in Denmark, occasional travel (approximately 30–40 days per year) should be expected.
