Store Accounting Analyst

What You’ll Do
Want to start your career with us? Here's an overview of the main responsibilities of this position:
- Perform Accounting analysis on Point of Sale, Loyalty, and Accounting software systems data to ensure balancing and to ensure products meet expectations
- Support new and existing processes for Accounting and IT using project management techniques, testing, and documentation. Ensure all transactions poll to the Accounting software correctly. Includes working with internal and external resources, troubleshooting, and making recommendations based on operational and accounting requirements.
- Test and certify PDI system changes as designated by Operations and Accounting. Including but not limited to form changes, new program implementations, etc. Provide documentation of testing that meets change management procedures.
- Create detailed reports documenting issues or errors to be retested and corrected.
- Perform research to isolate and resolve issues as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by accounting management.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Accounting experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Able to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making.
- Demonstrate ability to foster teamwork and facilitate teams through the encouragement and building of mutual trust, respect, and cooperation amongst team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to interface with all functions at all levels within the organization.
- Experience or ability to analyze data in a high transaction volume organization.
- Project management skills in order to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects based on business needs and requirements.
- Sharp attention to detail with strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Able to learn company-specific applications.
- PDI experience is a plus
