CalibrX is the leading Salesforce partner in Australia, and we are partnering with a global Salesforce practice to help find a hands-on Salesforce DevOps Lead. You will uplift and standardise delivery across enterprise Salesforce environments, often multi-org (programs, subsidiaries, business units) with complex integrations, governance, and multiple delivery teams.
This role is for someone who’s done DevOps properly in Salesforce at scale, someone who can bring structure, automation, and confidence to releases, while working comfortably with senior stakeholders in large, regulated organisations.
To be successful, you’ll need enterprise-level Salesforce experience
What you’ll be doing
- Own the DevOps operating model for enterprise Salesforce delivery
- Design and implement CI/CD and release automation using tools such as Copado, Gearset, Flosum, AutoRABIT (plus GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps/Bitbucket as relevant).
- Establish best-practice source control and branching strategies for Salesforce (PR discipline, code reviews, quality gates, release promotion paths).
- Environment strategy & management across sandboxes / scratch orgs / dev-test-uat-preprod-prod, including refresh patterns and release readiness.
- Improve release reliability with deployment guardrails (validation, automated testing, selective deployment patterns, rollback plans, auditability).
- Work with architects and delivery leads to align DevOps to the program’s objectives, release cycles, and dependencies (including integrations and data).
- Introduce measurable continuous improvement — reducing manual effort and change failure rate, increasing deployment frequency, improving lead time and recovery.
- Coach and uplift delivery teams (admins, developers, QA, release managers) so DevOps becomes a capability, not a bottleneck.
- Proven Salesforce DevOps delivery across large enterprise clients (complex governance, multiple teams, high change volume).
- Experience working in multi-org Salesforce landscapes (or similarly complex enterprise environments), including managing cross-org release standards and alignment.
- Strong capability with Salesforce release engineering: metadata management, dependency handling, promotion paths, hotfix patterns, and audit requirements.
- Hands-on experience with one or more Salesforce DevOps toolchains: Copado / Gearset / Flosum / AutoRABIT (or equivalent), plus Git.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce DX and modern deployment approaches (where appropriate).
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and delivery leadership, translating technical DevOps into practical outcomes and governance.
- Enterprise programs with real scale and complexity
- Ownership of standards and tooling that will be adopted across teams.
- A role where you’ll see measurable impact quickly: faster, safer releases and better quality outcomes.
