THE ROLE:

International Project Management – Product development & 360 activation


This position is under the responsibility of the International Group Manager or any other person designated by the Marketing Director. Dedicated to a specific zone or a specific franchise, their mission is to conceive and develop products relevant to the assigned area of expertise, in collaboration with the supporting team and to propose a cohesive 360 plan to ensure their success. She/He will also be responsible for the long-term strategic plan and manages the lifecycle of her/his ranges.


KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

Analyze and monitor the competitive landscape in its markets to identify growth opportunities

  • Identify new textures, new formulation concepts/technologies, and innovative packaging during innovation reviews
  • Develop strategic recommendations based on a global understanding of consumer needs and market analysis, and participate in the validation stages of the 3-year launch plan
  • Build and refine your knowledge as the expert of your assigned category and/or region


Oversee and develop product launches in collaboration with internal and external departments

  • Oversee the product launch from the design brief to product commercialization: concept, formula, packaging, name, and price positioning
  • Manage and monitor evaluations of various formula and packaging proposals
  • Monitor development testing protocols and communications with internal departments (R&D, regulatory, procurement)
  • Ensure the product’s international availability in accordance with the launch plan

Develop a 360-degree activation plan for product launches and range promotions

  • Develop a distinctive communication concept and apply it across all communication channels: POS, digital, PR, medical
  • Monitor the project timeline and coordinate the development of all 360-degree activation elements with various stakeholders (digital, medical communications, suppliers)

Monitor the performance of products in the product portfolio (quantitative and qualitative) and propose any support plan or corrective action as needed

  • Monitor product launches and core catalogue items; optimize/reformulate based on quality feedback, regulations, packaging changes, and ingredient blacklists
  • Analyze performance using pharmacy and drugstore panels or any other relevant data and provide support plan/recommendations to full your range or zone success, aligned with the brand’s priorities.

Prepare, attend and present during International Seminars & Congresses

  • Presentation of the managed projects and campaigns at international and operational seminars
  • Participation and contribution to the organization of events dedicated to the range during international congresses.
  • Building the pipe proposal and strategy to be presenting during the innovation seminar.


DESIRED PROFILE:

  • You are fluent in English with a good level of French and have a relevant experience abroad (native or long-term experience in full immersion)
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a Marketing Development or international marketing roles within beauty, skincare or personal care.
  • You have a keen understanding of beauty products and different cultural preferences and consumer behavior. You are able to navigate and support the international expansion of the brand.
  • You are dynamic, creative, detail-focus (small things matter)
  • You are proactive, able to make decisions to help the project move forward.
  • You are organized, able to follow and drive timelines to ensure delivery on time.
  • You are able to communicate confidently with the cross-functional team, as well as with headquarters management and relevant market stakeholders
