What we’re looking for:

Cloud Architect – Key Responsibilities

• Define and design cloud architecture solutions aligned with business objectives, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Support cloud migration programs and monitor internal/external cloud-hosted applications.
• Deliver architectural blueprints, design patterns, and reference frameworks for development teams.
• Advise squads on cloud-native design, APIs, DevOps practices, AI/ML integration, and open-source tooling.
• Define and enforce governance processes: cloud security standards, compliance, and cost management.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide rapid resolutions.
• Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to IT and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior architects and developers; foster knowledge sharing and best practices.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in software and systems architecture (OOP, OOAD, data, middleware, scalability, resiliency).
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud (5+ years in production workloads).
• Container orchestration & IaC: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, Ansible.
• Cloud-native application design and microservices architecture.
• Secure development lifecycle (SCA, SAST, DAST, CSPM) integrated in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in governance & compliance (e.g., GDPR).
• Nice-to-have: IBM Cloud, OpenStack, relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Google, TOGAF).
