About The Role

We are seeking a talented Staff Full-Stack Engineer to join our Integration Builder team within Okta Workflows. This team is responsible for the core no-code interface that enables both internal teams and third-party developers (ISVs) to create powerful integrations and automation experiences effortlessly. As a key member of this team, you will lead initiatives that span both front-end and back-end services, ensuring the delivery of high-performance, secure, and scalable features. Your role will involve defining system architecture, driving implementation efforts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Management, and Platform teams. You will work alongside our technical architects to shape the future of our products, making a significant impact on our strategic objectives. This position offers high visibility within the organization and is ideal for someone passionate about building innovative solutions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience developing modern web applications in a full-stack environment
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript, ReactJS, and Node.js (Express or similar frameworks)
  • Experience designing APIs and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
  • Proven ability to build services within distributed, cloud-based architectures
  • Strong product mindset with a focus on delivering intuitive and elegant user experiences
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Architects to make informed technical decisions
  • Passion for craftsmanship, including testing, monitoring, documentation, and scalability
  • Excellent communication skills to lead technical discussions and foster team alignment
  • A growth mindset with an interest in mentoring and uplifting team members

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to low-code/no-code tools, workflow engines, or visual development platforms
  • Interest in AI-assisted developer tooling or automation
  • Relevant education such as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design of key initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and of high quality
  • Develop reusable, high-performance UI components to enhance the no-code builder experience
  • Own services throughout their lifecycle, including implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and incident management
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Architecture teams to define feature requirements and implementation strategies
  • Partner with infrastructure and platform teams to optimize system performance and reliability
  • Mentor and support engineers across the team, fostering a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Participate in cross-functional planning, architectural reviews, and the development of engineering best practices
