About The Role

This isn’t a typical Banking Alliances role.

You will work on initiatives that genuinely transform how finance works in India, a type of work few roles offer.

You will act as the primary "Hunter" and "Bridge" for CoinDCX’s fiat infrastructure. This role exists to solve a critical challenge: ensuring that our users always have a reliable way to deposit and withdraw INR. You will be responsible for scouting new banking partners, managing complex technical integrations to go-live, and nurturing relationships with India's top financial institutions. You aren't just signing deals; you are building the pipes that power the crypto economy.

What You’ll Do

  • Hunt & Acquire New Payment Rails: Proactively scout, map, and engage with Banks, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and Gateways to open new pipelines for INR deposits and withdrawals. You will lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable rates and robust SLAs.
  • Lead "Sign-to-Live" Implementation: Own the project lifecycle from contract signature to production go-live. You will coordinate with internal Product, Tech, InfoSec, and Operations teams to integrate partner APIs, conduct UAT, and unblock technical hurdles.
  • Manage Strategic Relationships & Escalations: Take ownership of an existing portfolio of banking partners. While daily processing sits with Ops, you are the strategic POC responsible for resolving critical escalations, downtimes, or compliance friction.
  • Stabilize & Optimize Performance: Oversee the "teething phase" of new integrations. You will monitor early performance data and drive partners to improve Success Rates (SR) and Turnaround Times (TAT) through process or technical fixes.
  • Advocate for the Ecosystem: Represent CoinDCX in the wider payments landscape. You will build networks with banking stakeholders to advocate for the crypto sector, helping to reduce friction and build long-term trust.

  • Have a "Hunter" Mindset: You are persistent and resilient; you don't take "no" for an answer when opening doors with conservative banking institutions.
  • Speak "Tech" and "Bank": You can translate complex API documentation for business teams and explain compliance needs to tech teams.
  • Thrive in Chaos: You are comfortable troubleshooting urgent go-live issues or sudden partner downtimes without losing your cool.
  • Are a Strong Project Manager: You can herd cats—aligning legal, finance, product, and external partners to hit a launch deadline.
  • Build Relationships: You know how to navigate the hierarchy of a bank, from the IT head to the Business lead.

You’ll Know You’re Winning When

  • Seamless Transition: You have successfully taken full ownership of the existing banking portfolio with zero drop in engagement or unresolved escalations.
  • Execution of Pipeline: You have successfully driven currently "WIP" partner integrations to Go-Live by clearing internal and external blockers.
  • New Scouting: You have initiated commercial discussions with potential new strategic partners to build the next phase of growth.
  • Metric Improvement: You have analyzed inherited partner performance and implemented fixes that have improved Success Rates or reduced TAT.
