We are currently looking for a motivated Network Engineer to strengthen our client's team responsible for designing, securing, and operating the networks that support a wide range of services in both industrial and office environments. Our network footprint spans multiple European locations, including Belgium, France, the UK, Germany, and Switzerland.
The team leads and supports numerous strategic initiatives, such as:
* Setting up connectivity in new data centres
* Securing and integrating cloud environments
* Modernising our WAN infrastructure
* Enabling functional evolutions requested by application teams
As part of this dynamic context, we are seeking professionals eager to contribute to impactful, large-scale industrial and corporate network projects.
- Location: Brussels
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- On-site Presence: Full time
- You operate within a team supporting 24/7 business-critical activities.
- You work across both IT and OT environments, ensuring careful preparation and execution of all changes.
- You participate in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT and OT network systems.
- You contribute to day-to-day operational tasks within the team.
- You analyse and troubleshoot incidents and technical issues.
- You provide support to colleagues in Belgium and across Europe.
- Proficiency in Dutch or French, and fluency in English
- Strong collaboration mindset and willingness to work closely with other ICT teams
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Possession of a personal vehicle
- Availability to travel to Belgian sites when required
- Hands-on operational experience with Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls
- Solid understanding of routing & switching fundamentals (CCNA level)
- Familiarity with Cisco CLI
- Practical experience with Python
- Experience with backend tools such as monitoring platforms, NAC, central syslog, authentication services
- OT experience is considered a strong plus
- A degree in Computer Science is appreciated
- At least one relevant previous professional experience
