Role: Support Lead Consultant

Location: Oslo, Norway

Type: Permanent


Job Description:

  • Hands-on experience with OpenText Network Node Manager i (NNMi) for topology discovery, fault and performance monitoring, event correlation, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Practical experience with OpenText Network Automation for network configuration management, compliance checks, and configuration rollback.
  • Strong understanding of SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and SSH (Secure Shell) for device monitoring and automation.
  • Basic administration knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows systems.
  • Experience handling alerts, incidents, and working within Network Operations Center (NOC) environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Ability to perform L2/L3 level troubleshooting, operational support, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with scripting (Shell/Python) for automation and reporting.


Preferred Skills

  • Basic networking knowledge including routing and switching concepts across multi-vendor environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Elasticsearch, Grafana, or Splunk.
  • Ability to create runbooks, SOPs, and implement alert noise reduction strategies.
  • Exposure to API-based automation and integration with monitoring platforms.
