This is a remote, contract position for a Venture Capital Scout. The role entails identifying and evaluating potential blockchain and FinTech startup investment opportunities. Responsibilities include conducting market research, building relationships with founders and industry stakeholders, staying informed about emerging trends in blockchain and decentralized finance (DeFi), and providing investment recommendations to the GenesisCipher Labs team based on your findings.

• Proven ability in conducting market research and analyzing trends in financial technology and blockchain.
• Strong networking skills with the capacity to build relationships in the startup and venture capital ecosystem.
• Understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and cryptocurrency markets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively convey investment opportunities.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic and remote environment with strong time management skills.
• Prior experience in venture capital, startup ecosystems, or technology analysis is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
