Join us as Product Manager at 120 Ventures

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (f/m/x) to join our venture studio team and help shape the next generation of HealthTech, IoT and Impact ventures in Austria and beyond.

Based in Vienna, you will work at the heart of 120 Ventures - building, testing, and scaling digital products across our active portfolio.

About 120 Ventures

At 120 Ventures, we build solutions for the society of tomorrow. We are a venture studio focused on HealthTech, IoT and Impact ventures, driving impact, innovation, and growth through entrepreneurship.

Our current portfolio includes ventures across care coordination, employee wellbeing, marketplace platforms, and AI-powered tools.

The Role

As Product Manager at 120 Ventures, you will work directly within the venture studio team - taking ownership of product development across multiple ventures at different stages of maturity. You will be the connection between business strategy, user insights, and engineering execution, helping each venture move faster and smarter.

This is not a single-product role: you will context-switch, prioritise ruthlessly, and thrive in the structured chaos of building several things at once.

Your Responsibilities

  • Studio-wide product leadership: Own the product function across active ventures, setting standards for discovery, delivery, and iteration.
  • Roadmap & prioritisation: Define and maintain product roadmaps that reflect user needs, business goals, and resource constraints across the portfolio.
  • User research: Lead qualitative and quantitative research efforts to validate assumptions, uncover needs, and inform decisions at venture and studio level.
  • Technical collaboration: Work closely with engineering using modern AI-assisted development workflows, including Claude Code, Model Context Protocols (MCPs), and GitHub-based delivery pipelines.
  • Venture support: Partner with Founders in Residence and venture leads to sharpen product strategy at critical inflection points — from concept validation through to spin-out.
  • Stakeholder communication: Report on product progress clearly and regularly to the studio leadership and relevant stakeholders.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Startup experience: A minimum of 5 years of technical product management experience in startup or scale-up environments, with a proven track record of shipping products users love.
  • Multi-venture mindset: Comfortable managing priorities across more than one product simultaneously, with the ability to adapt quickly as context shifts.
  • Technical fluency: Confident working with AI-assisted development tooling including Claude Code and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations; proficient in GitHub workflows including pull requests, issue tracking, and collaborative version control.
  • Entrepreneurial drive: A self-starter who operates well with ambiguity and makes sound decisions without waiting for perfect information.
  • Strategic thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate trade-offs, spot opportunities, and translate insight into clear product direction.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (required); German is a significant advantage for stakeholder and user engagement in the Austrian market.

Why Join 120 Ventures?

  • Breadth over depth: Work across a live portfolio of ventures rather than being locked into a single product for years - ideal if you want to grow fast and see a lot of different ideas turning into products
  • Unfair advantage: Leverage our deep expertise in venture development, HealthTech, and AgeTech, plus the distribution reach and brand trust of our shareholders.
  • Impact-driven work: Everything we build is designed to improve lives - for ageing populations, families, care workers, and employees across Austria.
  • Collaborative culture: A high-trust, hands-on studio environment where your input genuinely shapes what gets built. You will be part of of shaping this culture.
  • Valuable network: Access to a strong ecosystem of investors, founders, and industry leaders across the DACH region and beyond.
  • Competitive compensation: We are legally obliged to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement, which is 59.010,00 EUR. We offer a competitive salary according to a career scheme based on your qualifications and experience.
